Proper Candle Care is essential for long lasting, great looking candles.
A Wick Sitter™ allows you to extinguish the candle flame while preventing splattered wax, soot and smoke. It also makes the wick easier to light the next time you burn your candle.
Step 1: Trim the Wick Wicks should always start at ¼” above the wax to prevent soot build-up and overheated glass.
Step 2: Light and Burn To encourage an even burn without tunneling, light the candle and let it burn away from drafts until the entire top layer liquefies.
Step 3: Dip the Wick To extinguish your candle, use the non-decorative end of a Wick Dipper or Wick Sitter™ to push the lit wick into the melted wax and pull it back out again.
